Contribution Formats

At rev2025 the following contribution formats are possible:

  • Extended abstract
  • Full paper

Each contribution format will be presented at the conference (after review). Further information on the respective oral presentation formats will be disclosed soon.

Submission Process

The submission process has the following steps:

  1. Prospective authors submit an abstract and a graphical abstract of the contribution type (i.e., extended abstract, full paper) they wish to contribute through the online submission system.
    The initial abstract shall have max 500 words (excl. references).
    The graphical abstract shall be submitted in either PDF, PNG or JPG format.
  2. The submitted abstracts (incl. graphical abstracts) are reviewed by the scientific board.
  3. Authors will be notified about if their submission is accepted.
  4. Authors of accepted submissions submit their chosen contribution type, that must conform to the provided style guidelines (for more information see section “Guide for Authors” below).

Important Dates for Submissions

  • 17 Dec 2024: Start of online abstract submission.
  • 28 Feb 2025: Final deadline for abstract submission
    • The deadline for abstract submission has closed. In case you are interested in submitting an abstract please contact info@rev2025.org
  • 28 March 2025: Reviews of submitted contributions: completed.
    • Contributors have been notified shortly about the acceptance decision.
  • 01 April 2025: Registration for rev2025 opens.
  • 31 May 2025: Deadline for submission of extended abstract and submission for full paper

Online Submission System

Regardless of the chosen contribution type (i.e., extended abstract, full paper) an abstract (max. 500 words, excl. references) and a graphical abstract (PDF or JPG format) needs to be submitted via the online submission system.

Update: The online submission system has opened again submitting the extended abstract / full paper.

Guide for Authors

The authors of accepted abstracts should submit the respective contribution type adhering the formal criteria outlined below.

At least one author from each contribution must register to the conference. For more infromation see Fees & Registration.

All accepted contributions will be published in the electronic conference proceedings under the CC BY license. Authors will retain the copyright on their work.

Extended abstract 

Authors submit an extended abstract of their work (max. 1000 words, excl. references) in MS Word format. 

Authors need to adhere to the template for extended abstracts. The template can be found here: Template Extended Abstract.

Full paper 

Authors submit a paper of four-to-eight pages in length in MS Word format. 

Authors must ensure that their full paper adheres to the template for full papers. The template can be found here: Template Full Paper.

There is the opportunity for excellent full papers to be included in book proceeding (publishing house: Edward Elgar, Scopus-Indexed). Please indicate in the online submission system whether you want your paper to be considered for publication in the book proceedings. 

The full papers will be evaluated by the scientific board regarding the following critiera:

  • scientific excellence and novelty
  • rigor and clarity
  • contribution to the conference themes and respecitve topics
